School Funding

Hello world. I have joined the rant side of the blog. Anyway, I will now rant about school funding. Yeah, it's great. If you like gym class. That's basically the only thing that gets funded. If you're an art teacher, sorry! You'll have to live with little to no funding. If you're a gym teacher, good for you. You don't have to buy anything with your own money. Everything's free for you. Just as long as you don't teach anything meaningful at your school, you get lots of money. Well, I can't actually say that, because my math teacher doesn't teach anything useful and she doesn't get that much funding. Anyway, why is it that the most useless classes get lots of funding and the most useful classes get practically no funding? My band can't even buy new strings for the bass drum and have to use old rubber bands and duct tape! Also, Lochbuie Elementary can't afford the nicest counculer or art class, but can afford not one, but TWO new gym teachers? It's just ridiculous. They could probably build two new schools with just two gym teachers funding. This district, no, this WORLD needs to get it's head on strait.

Who doesn't love homework?

Hello again, everyone. Today, I'm going to be talking about homework. Who doesn't love it? I'll tell you who, the STUDENTS! Oh, yeah, the teachers say "It'll be good to practice at home.", but do they ever thing about how lots of people hate getting homework? NO!!! Instead, they keep piling on the homework and making kids miserable. Just earlier me and my brother where doing our homework. And guess what? NEITHER OF US LIKED IT!!!!! I just stopped trying and my brother left and went into the garage to hide. Do you think he had more fun in his car or doing his homework? My money's on sitting in his car because he didn't have to solve math equations. I know some people who just sit there and let the homework keep piling on and never doing it, myself included, because they just hate it that much. So all you teachers out there who are reading this, either stop giving so much homework or make it easier. Either that or make it relevant to your students lives. I was just doing homework on finding the slope of a line. How is that relevant? I'm going to end here. But I leave asking one thing, think about it.
